Austin is on his way!
At my week 39 doctor appt today we were able to schedule an induction. Tomorrow evening we will get a call from the hospital letting us know when there is a bed ready for me. Brian and I will leave Logan with my parents and head down to Northside to get some rest. On Wednesday morning we will wake up take showers and get ready for the doctor to come in and break my water and start the pitocin followed by the epidural! Not sure how long it will take to get me to 10cm and up to recovery; we will update through text or email if access is available. We will send a text pic as soon as we can. Say a prayer for an easy delivery and a healthy baby boy.

Austin - We are ready for you!
We are packed and ready to head to the hospital whenever the time comes. We had several doctors appts last week checking on our baby boy Austin. I was really sick last weekend and became dehydrated, this caused a lot of contractions. So on Monday we went to my doctor and after some fluids the contractions subsided. However the doctor discovered that Austin was breech. So I was given several exercises to practice at home to get him to turn. Well by our ultrasound on Wednesday - Austin turned! I know it was all the prayers and maybe some of the exercises I did that helped him to turn. He is head down as of Wednesday. We went back to talk to my doctor again on Thursday - I am still only 1 cm and the baby is high. So what is a mom to do? Everything she can to help the process along! After a day at work on Friday I went and had my hair done. Then today we spent several hours out buying things for our house and walking! Tomorrow I am going to clean, clean, clean! Maybe this will speed things along. I will be 37 weeks on Monday. I plan on working until Friday. After that I will be home with Logan just hanging out and waiting for our new arrival! Here are some new pictures of Austin's nursery and the house decorated for the fall.
Logan 16 Months
On Sept. 15, Logan turned 16 months. Time is really going by so quickly. We finally made it the pediatrician for his vaccines and check-up (supposed to be done at 15 months - a lot was going on in August). Logan is in the 50th percentile for his weight (25 lbs) and the 25th percentile for his height (31 1/2 inches). Each time we go for a well visit we have to fill out a questionnaire sheet prior to the appt to let the doctor know what he can do (development wise/milestones) - Logan did everything on the questionnaire from talking, walking, to playing and being social. He is such a smart boy! He has brought us such joy and love since the second he was born. We can only imagine what it will be like to experience everything all over again with Austin and to have double the joy and double the love. I can honestly say these are by far the
best years of my life.

Papers to Grade
I brought home a lot of papers to grade tonight. I thought they were out of Logan's sight - no chance, he doesn't miss anything!
Golfing with Daddy
I don't say it enough, Brian is a great dad and husband. Logan loves his daddy so much. Last Saturday Brian was teaching Logan how to swing a golf club. One more thing I have to say about my great husband, before he leaves for work either in the morning or afternoon Brian always trys to clean up (the destruction from playing and breakfast/lunch) and he has been laying out comfy clothes for me to change into with all the pillows adjusted for me on the bed. Such a great guy! I love you!!!
Sock Hop
Logan and I went to my school's sock hop last Friday. He had a great time. He loves to dance and be around other kids. He looked so cool/cute in his jeans!
Diaper Shower
My sweet class had a diaper shower for me last week. My room mom planned it and several other parents attended. Brian and Logan were also there. We received so many diapers look at this stack!

35 Week Update
I am 1 cm dialated. The process has begun. It is amazing how the body prepares for birth. Austin will be here with us soon. Until his arrival spending lots of time with Logan and having a date night or two with Brian is on the agenda. Mimi is taking me to get Logan's coming home outfit next week from Strasburg Children (that is where we bought Logan's outfit also). I also want to get our bags packed, pick up some snacks for the hospital for Brian and I. We have a few gifts from Austin to Logan and Mimi and Papa bought Logan lots of Barney goodies (slippers, bookbag, DVD) for the hospital - so he is all set for his baby brother to be born! I think I am almost all set at work. I have a 10 page classroom procedures (in ABC order - of course) for my long term sub, along with lesson plans. I have to make sure my school kids are taken care of also! My last day is Oct. 3. That will be towards the end of my 37th week. If Austin comes before or right after that is great. If not then a few days at home, relaxing and playing with Logan will be great also. Logan is actually sick right now. He has a virus. Which I am sure he caught by coming to school twice last week for baby showers. We think it is getting worse almost croup like so he may have to go back to the doctor before the end of the week. I don't like when my sweet boy is sick!
