35 Weeks

Down to the last few weeks of pregnancy and am I ever feeling very pregnant!  I had an OB appt today.  Addison is facing a strange way so the nurse had a difficult time finding her heartbeat...I aged a few years in those five very long minutes.  Then my dr. came in and did the Strep B Test, I have been negative in the past, so I am sure I am again.  He also "checked" me...NO CHANGE!  I may die from all the contractions and back pain but my body is remaining the same.  It reminds me of being pregnant with Austin.  Nothing ever changed even with all the contractions I was having which ultimately led to the c-section.  With Logan every few days I dilated/effaced more.  So we'll see what happens I go back weekly at this point but May 23 will be here quickly:)
Pregnancy Highlights

How Far Along: 35 Weeks
Size of baby: Addison is now the size of a honeydew!

From now on, her growth is mostly in the plumping up department -- though she won't get much longer, she'll put on a pound or more of baby fat before birth. (She's about 15 percent right now and will be about 30 percent by full-term.) Her hearing is totally developed (baby responds best to higher pitches) from the bump.com.
Total Weight Gain/Loss: I lost a lb since my last OB appt!  I laughed when the nurse told me and she said that is what most women do when they "lose" weight at the end.  Total weight gain 31lbs. Starting weight 105 current weight 136 lbs.
Maternity Clothes: My regular tops are getting a bit short to cover the belly! I have a lot of summer maternity clothes from the boys so those are out and I am also loving the long maxi dresses. Still love my Gilligan & O'Malley black yoga like pants from Target.
Gender: It's a girl!!! Addison Kathleen Harris
Movement: Addison is a mover. Usually at the end the baby doesn't move as much, another sign I know the end is no where in sight!  Addison MOVES all the time. She is very busy. Her movements are actually beginning to hurt!
Sleep: Well I have AWFUL back pain, especially my right side where my sciatic nerve is involved. Once I get to sleep I can sleep but getting comfortable is hard and requires at least 10 pillows!
What I miss: Not much but sleeping on my stomach and not having back pain.
Cravings: None. My stomach is squished so food is no longer a joy. Fruit and anything liquid is great. I am so thirsty all the time. Easter brought me lots of candy - which is why I laughed when I was told I lost a lb the next day at the OB's office.  I ate so much on Easter!
Symptoms: Mostly heartburn! She has hair:) Contractions started at 30 weeks and back pain.
Best Moment this week: Hearing Addison's heartbeat and just knowing how close we are to meeting our sweet sweet girl.

Sweet frame for Addison's dresser/hutch.  Can't wait to put a picture of her in it of course wearing a BIG bow!
