Where are the months going? Austin is doing a lot better. He still has some tummy issues every now and then but overall his health has improved. He is such a happy, alert, sweet baby. He recently found his feet and can't keep them out of his mouth! He has also started sucking his thumb when he is really hungry. Although I would rather him not suck his thumb it is really cute to see. Logan never sucked his thumb only his ya-ya! Austin saw his GI specialist last week and weighed in at a whopping 17lbs! He is wearing 6-9 month and even a few 12 month things. He has started to do the tripod to hold himself up. We have not started solids yet. We tried and it really hurt his stomach. He is still nursing and loving it. He still gets up 2 times a night to eat though. I plan on weaning him soon! He goes for his 6 month well visit next month.
Logan is so incredibly smart. He has an extensive vocabulary and can now tell us what he wants and even more so what he doesn't want! I am in the midst of planning his 2nd birthday party - mark your calendars May 17 2-4pm! It is going to be of course a Barney Bash! He really loves Barney, so much so I had to put the dvds away, we all needed a break!
The boys really love each other so much already. The other day Austin started to cry, I was getting clothes out of the dryer and I peak around the corner to see Logan giving Austin his bottle that he had gotten off the counter! He gives him ya-ya and tickles him to make Austin laugh while saying "goochie goochie goo!" They are going to be buddies for sure. Austin stares at Logan and squeals at any attention Logan gives him. The other day I walked in the bedroom to read books before bed and Logan had given Austin a book to look at and he had a book as well so they could "read" while waiting for mommy! Bath time is getting fun and wild with both boys in the tub (pictures coming soon)!
