New Year's Update

I meant to do this in the last post but I am tired so I forgot.  Here is an update on how I am doing with my 2010 "goals!"

Here is a recap of what my resolutions are (I will write next to each with pink being the update)
Meg's 2010 Resolutions
1. Get Logan out of our bed permanently and sleeping contently in his room - LIFE CHANGING...Logan has been sleeping in his own bed in  his own room for the last two weeks.  He goes to bed alone and stays in bed.  The boys also have given up "ya-ya" during the day.  They get their paci's for naps and bedtime only!  WOO WOO!!
2. Learn to use sewing machine (my parents gave me a Brother Computerized Sewing Machine with basic Monogramming function! I am locating lessons as we speak. I love to look at it and have big plans for it! - Not yet.  I have looked into lessons the girl at Hobby Lobby won't get back to me but I do have several friends who have offered (I think I just want to be in a classroom:)
3. Spend less time cleaning and more time playing. As a Stay Home Mom, I too often get caught up in the house work and take for granted my babies being with me. Not any more. Just today I spent 2 hours building a railroad track and playing trains - that is my happiness. - I am getting better.  Not vacuuming everyday is a good start!
4. Cook well balanced dinners 4 out of the 7 nights and sit down as a family to eat these dinners - again too often I am home alone with the kids and so easily put them in their highchairs for dinner and clean up the kitchen while they eat - NO MAS! - I have been cooking more like 6 out of the 7 nights and the 7 night being at a one of the grandparent's house!  I am doing good.  Planning the dinners, preparing them, using the leftovers.  FRUGAL!
5. Laundry - fold it as it comes out of the dryer, instead of piling up on my bedroom floor and having to rewash or de-wrinkle after it has sat there for several days. - I hate laundry still.  I have made a bigger effort to not wait days but more like one day.
6. Workout at least 3 days each week - not to lose weight just to be healthy. - Today was day two since the beginning of Jan.  But today felt different I liked it actually.  So maybe it is my time to get in shape.
7. Organize, hang, and put in albums all the pictures (thousands) that are located in my Creative Memories photo software on my computer. - Some not completely

Well that is the 7 seven things I hope to accomplish. All very achievable and healthy "resolutions."
Not a bad start to 2010.  I will keep you posted;-)
