She's Crafty

Well I am getting there.  This is what I made for our front door...
It was easy. I purchased a bag of wood hearts from Michaels (with my 40% off coupon making the $6 something bag less than $4! I painted each heart with acrylic paint - I have a ton of acrylic paint (two coats on the hearts).  The hearts dried.  I wrote on each heart - with a silver sharpie I have (like candy hearts with messages; i.e. Be Mine, LUV U, etc).  Then I sprayed each heart with an acyrlic seal (purchased at Michaels again with a 40% off coupon) and hot glued (I am a teacher hot gluing is what we do so yes I have hot glue guns) them onto this wooden wreath (I am sure there is a better name than wooden wreath, but whatever).  The little hearts on each side of "the Harris family" have the boys initals on them.  It was a fun, simple project and now I have a wreath for V-Day!
