Valentine Fun

Our little valentines were very sick this year leading up to valentines day.  As soon as they get better from one virus and I take them out they pick up something else and gets ooooooold.   Staying in the house for 12 days straight with two sick toddlers is enough to drive any young mother absolutly crazy.  I have said it before and I will say it again, PLEASE, if you are sick, if your kids are sick, if anyone that you have been in close contact with is sick, PLEASE don't come in contact with my family.  I know those words are harsh, but my boys don't just get a small cold and get over it in 48 hours.  They get really sick.  I am crazed about how sick they get.  I nursed both of them for 7 or more months.  They don't go to child care, they get their shots, they eat healthy foods, and I am very consistent about washing hands.  So how do they get so sick?  We don't know.  It could be in their genetic make-up, Brian was a very sick little boy with asthma.  Both boys show signs of asthma.  Wheezing is brought on by the littlest cold and they both always end up doing breathing treatments.  It is exhausting when a child is sick.  When two children are sick, well I need a serious vacation at this point.  As soon as Logan was done throwing up, Austin started.  As soon as the throwing up subsided another ailment kicked in.  They are on the mend and this week looks like the healthiest week so far in the month of February!
So how do we celebrate Valentine's Day when they babies are sick?  We bake!
