Went to Disney World with my babies! I had been to Disney growing up and so had Brian but going with our own children was more magical than words can describe. It was wonderful and we are so thankful for Brian’s parents for planning this wonderful vacation!
2. Did you keep your New Year's Resolutions and will you make more for next year?
I would have never remembered my resolutions, but thankfully, I posted them "last year" :) Meg's 2010 Resolutions (In black, updates in pink)
- Get Logan out of our bed permanently and sleeping contently in his room. Logan does sleep in his own room every night. He is happy we are happy everyone is happy in their own beds!
- Learn to use sewing machine (my parents gave me a Brother Computerized Sewing Machine with basic Monogramming function! I am locating lessons as we speak. I love to look at it and have big plans for it! I took one class; I need to take more. After the one class I took I never used the sewing machine. Not good, I will work on that this year.
- Spend less time cleaning and more time playing. As a Stay Home Mom, I too often get caught up in the house work and take for granted my babies being with me. Not anymore. Just today I spent 2 hours building a railroad track and playing trains - that is my happiness. Room for improvement for sure. Though I can tell when the kids are bored and I stop what I am doing and just play, color, play games, go outside, anything to keep them busy!
- Cook well balanced dinners 4 out of the 7 nights and sit down as a family to eat these dinners - again too often I am home alone with the kids and so easily put them in their highchairs for dinner and clean up the kitchen while they eat - NO MAS! I have been cooking more like 6 out of the 7 nights and the 7 night being at a one of the grandparent's house! I am doing well. Planning the dinners, preparing them, using the leftovers. FRUGAL!
- Laundry - fold it as it comes out of the dryer, instead of piling up on my bedroom floor and having to rewash or de-wrinkle after it has sat there for several days. I hate laundry still. I have made a bigger effort to not wait days but more like one day.
- Workout at least 3 days each week - not to lose weight just to be healthy. I did ok for a few months. I took up yoga and really loved doing that. Now that I am in a high risk pregnancy no exercise allowed – boo (yeah right)
- Organize, hang, and put in albums all the pictures (thousands) that are located in my Creative Memories photo software on my computer. Some not completely
No! I have no nieces of nephews. I have friends who had babies but none that are related.
4. Did anyone close to you die?
Yes my Grandma Cappellino died in November. (That is just immediate family, several extended family and friends went Home this year).

Disney World, Navarre Beach (2 times), Lake Norman (fun, fun, fun family get together), Meadville (2 times), Annual Mountain trip with friends (but that is local in GA)
6. What would you like to have in 2011 that you lacked in 2010?
I pray that I will be more purposeful in my parenting, my marriage, and my relationships with others. Get out of "auto-pilot" and make each day/relationship meaningful.
7. What date from 2010 will remain etched in your memory and why?
January 27, 2010....Our third wedding anniversary

8. What was your biggest achievement this year?
Starting graduate school! I began working on Master’s Degree of Reading and Literacy in February 2010.
9. Did you suffer illness or injury?
Not really. Unless we count my placenta being attached to my previous C-section scar. We’ll see how that plays out in 2011 when Miss Addison is born!
10. What was the best thing you bought?
A lap top when I began grad school. We have a PC upstairs but needed the convenience of working on a lap top anywhere in the house.
11. Where did most of your money go?
Logan and Austin :)
12. What song will always remind you of 2010?
“Scooby Dooby Doo where are you I got a little problem for you now.” Seriously Logan sings that line all the time. I know there are others, but that is the first song that comes to mind :) Even Austin has begun singing it.
13. What do you wish you would have done more of?
Gone on more dates with Brian, exercised more, done more for others.
14. What do you wish you would have done less of?
Stressed less about things that were out of my control. Complained less and felt more blessed for all that I have.
15. What was your favorite TV program?
The Real Housewives (of any town), Grey’s Anatomy, Private Practice, CNN (I love Anderson Cooper – seriously)
16. What was the best book you read this year?

I can’t think of one movie that was my favorite
18. What did you do on your birthday and how old were you?
The week before my birthday (I turned 29) I went with my mom and boys to Navarre beach for a few days. It was nice to be at the beach and the boys had so much fun. We even celebrated there. On my actual birthday I celebrated with Brian and the boys during the day by being together and then that evening with Brian by going to dinner.
19. What political issue stirred you the most?
I worry about the economy and public education. Still wondering where all that change is that Obama talked about…
20. Who was the best new person you met?
Addison during my first ultrasound when I heard her heart beating:)
Happy New Year! We are looking forward to a wonderful 2011!
